Illinois SHRM Conference Announcement

    May 15, 2014

Letter from the ILSHRM Conference Chair:

If you haven't heard by now the largest HR conference in the State of Illinois will be held on August 3rd-5th at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.  The theme this year is "Shaping the Future of HR".  Every keynote, concurrent session, and activity supports this message. We are going to be thinking about what tomorrow looks like for our profession and what we can do to help get there.  We are in exciting and innovative times.  These sessions are going to help us tap into that.
Speaking of innovation, the pre-conference workshop, held on Sunday, August 3rd, is going to tap into our creativity and innovation. I don't know about you, but I do not consider myself a creative person. Doug Shaw and Joe Gerstandt are going to help us realize our true creative potential in the Art of Leadership.  Tickets are going fast and it is sure to sell out so do not delay if you are thinking of attending.
All keynotes and concurrent sessions have been submitted for HRCI credit. We are anticipating a high number of credits this year, due to several sessions qualifying for business credit.  If you are short on credits or just like getting most of yours in one event, this is the place to be.  As soon as we know how many credits have been approved, I will be shouting it from the rooftops!
Early bird registration ends June 1st and is good for $100 off.  So, act quickly!  If you want to stay informed about the conference, feel free to join our mailing list or bookmark our website for continued updates.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly at
Hope to see you in August,
