The Central Illinois Human Resources Group (CiHRG) is a local chapter (#246) of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Since 1948, this Society has developed and provided programs and services to improve the professional knowledge of human resource professionals. At the same time, SHRM has worked to create a broader understanding of the importance of human resource management and has served as the source for information about developments in the field.

If you’re actively engaged as a human resource practitioner in central Illinois, we invite you to join us! Affiliation with this dynamic group at the local and national levels provides you access to a wealth of services and programs to broaden your skills and make you more valuable to your organization. As a member of the local SHRM chapter and the national organization, you’ll be part of the largest professional organization in the world dedicated exclusively to the advancement of human resource professionals.  We're here to help you!
